Private by design. Quiet by default.
Souvenyr is built for the moments most worth remembering. We hold ourselves to a higher privacy standard than the social platforms — and we publish how, plainly. There is no advertising business hiding behind this page. There is no public feed anywhere on Souvenyr. There never will be.
What we collect
The event title and description you write. The guest names you and they choose to share. The photos, videos, voice memories, and captions guests upload. The account information you provide at signup. Billing metadata when you upgrade. Nothing more.
What we don't do
We do not run a public feed. We do not sell media to advertisers. We do not use your event content to train any external model. We do not enable indexing of your event by search engines. We do not enrich your profile from third-party sources. We do not sell or share your contact information.
How memories are processed
When you create an event, your contributions are processed by Souvenyr's direction layer — a set of contracted partners that compose the soundtrack, write editorial captions, and add cinematic light to the film. Every partner is bound by a data-processing agreement that forbids retention of your event content beyond what is strictly required to fulfil the request, and that explicitly prohibits use of your content for model training.
Where your data lives
Media is stored in encrypted object storage, keyed under each event's private path. Metadata lives in a managed Postgres database with row-level security gated by your identity. Sessions and billing are managed by tightly contracted partners under industry-standard agreements.
Your controls
You can archive or delete an event at any time. Guests can request deletion of their own contributions. Exports are watermarked unless you disable that in event settings. Deleting your account triggers a 30-day grace window after which all media is permanently destroyed.
